Habits are so important, and it’s something you repeatedly do.
Look at your life right now.
Are you progressing towards your life goals?
Are you repeating the same routine day after day and have nothing to show for it?
When things aren’t going the right way, or they’re not going anywhere, it’s crucial to take action.
Over time, good or bad habits you do every day amount to significant changes later in life.
Minor changes and actions you begin today and repeat daily can transform your life for the better.
You may not notice the changes in a couple of days or weeks.
But in a few months or years, you’ll look back and see what you’ve accomplished and how you’ve made yourself better.

When you change your negative habits to positive and healthy ones, you change your life for the better.
Our first habit is gratitude, and being grateful for the things you have in your life is so important.
Practicing gratitude helps improve our mental health and boosts our relationships with others.
When you live life with gratitude, you notice the little wins in life with a deeper meaning instead of forgetting about all the good things that happened.
It’s the little things that matter in life -like your car started today.
A stranger held the door open for you.
You have a roof over your head food on the table.
The most powerful way to rewire your brain for joy and less stress is to focus on gratitude.
There are many ways to practice gratitude, but the most important one, I believe, is having a gratitude journal to help remind you of the good things.
At night before bed, I take out my gratitude journal and write about the good things that happened that day.
I write about the things I’m thankful for, and doing this helps me visualize everything I’m grateful for.
Writing helps us shift our negative mindset to a positive one.
After you’ve written what you’re grateful for, take the time to reflect on what you’ve written.
Number two is scheduling time for self-care.
If you don’t schedule self-care for yourself, you won’t do it.
Take a look at the week ahead.
When can you fit in you time?
Schedule time for that hot bath. Go out for tea with a friend. Whatever you want to do that’s fun, schedule that time and do it.
Even if it’s 20 minutes, taking time out for you will make you feel happier.
That self-care time will make you feel better about yourself as a whole.
If you’re the type of person that likes to take a bath or hang out in a quiet space in your house for self-care, you may want to create a self-care kit.
So, what exactly is a self-care kit?
A self-care kit is a basket filled with things that will make you feel good safe and help soothe anxiety and stress.
You choose things you know you like, from journals, coloring books, bath products, socks, and slippers.
As long as you like and enjoy them and find them fun.

Number three is practicing mindfulness meditation.
Mindful Exercises are an act of focusing or being aware of what you are feeling, sensing, and experiencing in the present moment.
When you focus on your activity, you’re living in the present moment instead of being stuck in your head with your negative thoughts.
For example, if you’re walking outside, pay close attention to your surroundings.
Watch the birds chirping and flying around, that squirrel gathering nuts.
Notice the beauty of nature in that present moment without judgment.
Some exercises you can do are:
Breathing Exercises
Meditation
Mindful Observation
Mindful Awareness
Mindful Listening
Mindful Immersion
Anchoring
Finger Breathing
Yoga
Mindful Journaling
Mindfulness Exercises can do wonders for your physical and emotional well-being.
Number four is taking ten minutes each day to clean.
Taking those ten minutes each day helps you not feel overwhelmed and jam all that cleaning into one day.
It breaks your cleaning down into smaller, more manageable chunks.
That ten minutes is a short amount of time and will give you the confidence to do it, and it’s a long enough time to get a lot done.
Start in your room by hanging up clothes, going to the living room, and dusting.
Wash and put away the dishes.
There are so many things you can do in that ten minutes, and it helped me keep my space clean without feeling overwhelmed.
Our 5th habit is the 80/20 rule or the Pareto Principle.
The Pareto Principle was named after its founder and Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto back in 1895.
Pareto found that the top 20 percent in society, also called the vital few held the most wealth and influence, and the trivial many were the bottom 80 percent of the population.
The 80/20 rule can be used for almost any situation from the economy, business, setting goals, and how productive you are.
Now the Pareto principle suggests two out of ten items on a to-do list will turn out to be worth more than the other eight items on the list.
Unfortunately, most people tend to procrastinate on the top 10 or 20 percent of the most valuable items that would lead to their success.
Instead, they focus on the least significant 80 percent, which contributes very little to their success.
So let’s focus on goal setting as an example for the 80/20 rule.
Write down ten goals on a piece of paper.
Ask yourself, If you could accomplish only one goal, which would have the most positive impact on your life?
Next, pick the second most important goal. After doing so, you’ll have determined the most important 20 percent of your goals that will help you more than the others.
As you go through life, continue to work at the goals you’ve chosen as the most valuable all the time.
So out of these five habits, which resonate with you the most?
Which habit will you begin working on and put into action today?
Please let me know in the comments.
Remember you are amazing and unique, and I want you to live life to the fullest.
I believe in you, and I want you to believe in you.
Stay positive, friends.
